Te Whiria o te Toutouwai 2023

  We have been learning about fractions. What better way than to cut fairy bread in quarters and halves.  Some children opted to eat theirs whole. This is something we also do with toast and you can easily do at home too.

  Have lemons… make lemonade. We were gifted some lemons so we cut, squeezed, strained and poured. After adding some warm water and sugar we tasted. It was a bit sour at first but some more sugar sorted that out! Great team work Toutouwai.

  100 days at School We have be counting towards this day for quite some time... 100 days to be exact! Happy 100 days at school! We celebrated with a morning tea and counting to 100 quite a few times… including some treats.
